The Right Thing to Do

A lot of people are protesting in Washington for and against health care reform. You can always tell the difference when you look at the crowds. All-white crowds carrying American flags with ugly slogans ("abort obama" in huge letters and then a small bracketed 'care") are against reform. Flocke has yet to see an image of a multi-ethnic crowd (which might better represent what America is) protesting the health care bill. Is it non American to provide health insurance for the poor, uninsured, non - whites of this country ? Many Catholic nuns in this country (and flocke) don't think so.
